Disaster Relief

We are currently mobilizing Illinois Baptist Disaster Relief volunteers to serve in response to flooding that is affecting the Granite City/Metro East St. Louis area. Prior to this, teams served in other flood ravaged areas in Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, and Missouri. Illinois Baptist Disaster Relief ministry is funded through individual and church donations made by people like you. When you give, 100% of your offering will assist efforts to meet the needs affected persons as well as mobilizing your Illinois Baptist Disaster Relief volunteers Your gifts are tax deductible. IBDR is part of the Illinois Baptist State Association, a 501 (3) (c) religious organization.

About Illinois Baptist State Association

Illinois Baptists have 1,600 trained disaster relief volunteers belonging to 37 teams based around the state. The teams include kitchen, childcare, chaplaincy, chainsaw, flood recovery, laundry and shower units along with a disaster relief command and communications trailer, and a search and rescue unit. IBSA Disaster Relief is a ministry of the Illinois Baptist State Association. IBSA Disaster Relief’s mission is to meet people’s physical and spiritual needs during times of crisis. It is a ministry of the Illinois Baptist State Association.

The Illinois Baptist State Association (IBSA), established in 1907, has nearly 1,000 Southern Baptist member churches and missions in Illinois. IBSA’s purpose is to assist churches in ministering and sharing Christ in their communities, state, nation, and world.
